Our organization deals with the international issues of children and parents.
The primary task is to protect the child, its well-being and to maintain his or her bond with the biological family.

Many Slovak, Czech and Polish families are leaving for work abroad (as well as Great Britain). The young are leaving to study and many of them are setting up families abroad. Mixed marriages or partnerships of different nationalities and cultures are also emerging. Living abroad is more complicated. In our countries, there are other social, legal rules. Rules in education, school attendance, etc.

JUDr. Marica Pirošíková, the Agent of the Government of the Slovak Republic before the ECHR,  is the right person at the right place. In complex cases, it is very useful to be aware of the case law of the European Court of Human Rights interpreting the Convention on the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms binding on the 47 Council of Europe member States that are under the obligation to interpret their national law in conformity with the evolving case law of the European Court of Human Rights. Assigning the correct case law to the just-going case is immediately important for quick and proper legal proceedings. In this regard, its publishing activity is significant, or a warning about a specific decision by the European Court of Human Rights, which is a guide to further proceedings. The Agent of the Slovak Republic before the ECHR also regularly draws attention to the resolutions of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, which addresses to the Member States and are relevant for the activities of their social services and the court decision making concerning the taking of children from parental care without their consent.
