The meeting took place at the office of Slovaks living abroad. Despite a prominent meeting with the chairman of the Office for Slovaks Living Abroad, it took place.
Our director Dagmar Dureckova acquainted him with the activities of our organization A Ray of Sunshine for a Child. He was the most interested in our project School through play in Taunton. We are a beginning small school, for example, he keep his fingers crossed for us in the implementation. A new Klobucik – Library has been established. Friendly meetings Klobucik – Na slovicko. She also presented our singer Katka and the beginning file in yellow colors. She presented also the counseling project The Way to (Un)known, our cooperation with other communities in the area and collections for our sister organization. The collected items travel to families after returning to Slovakia, which are in the need. Mrs. Dagmar Dureckova learned about the Slovak Office through ISEIA. Mrs. Jarka Buchlova is the heart of the whole ISEIA and provides a lot of information and opportunities for Slovak schools, centers around the world.
We believe that our cooperation will deepen. The aim is to preserve our customs, traditions and our Slovak language for Slovaks living in Great Britain, in the city of Taunton and its surroundings.
